The Economic Club of Texas hosted its 2Q26 Austin Founders Forum, featuring three of Austin's leading founders, on Monday, April 27th from 5-8pm located at 2801 Via Fortuna, Austin, TX 78746 (the Terrace office complex, ground floor event space).

The featured speakers were:

Gabe Dominocielo of Umbra​

Justin Lopas of Base Power​

Ben Rubenstein of Setpoint​

Umbra and Base are unicorns (>$1bn valuations), and Setpoint is the third nine-figure startup Ben has built.

The panel will be moderated by Santiago Iturbe. Santiago is a VC partner at Mithril​ and a co-founder of what is now the Economic Club of Texas.
